Kapellebusj (Kapellerbos) is een lied over mijn jeugd in Schaesbergeveld. Iedereen uit mijn buurt en omringende buurten kent het bos. Het was in mijn kindertijd het bos van Bokkenrijders en riddertje spelen. In de tiener jaren was het bos een romantische plaats met je lief en nu in de latere dagen van het leven is het een oase van rust en de zoete pijn van weemoed.

Chapelsforest (Kapellerbos) is a song about my childhood in Schaesbergerveld. Everyone from my neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods, knows the forest. In my childhood it was the forest of playing BillyGoat Riders and Knights. In the teenage years the forest was a romantic place with your sweetheart and now in the later days of life it’s an oasis of peace and sweet pain of wistfulness.
