“Who’ll Stop the Rain” is a hit song by Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) from 1969.
According to Fogerty, it’s a song that came to him while playing in the pouring rain at Woodstock.
There are many good covers on VidTubes that sounds a lot like the original…My cover version is totally different, it sounds more like an old Irish traditional folk song. But the original version reflects the real and wonderful sound of the 70’s.
You can listen to the original version on various VidTubes.

Who’ll stop the Rain
Verse: 01
Long as I remember the rain been comin’ down.
Clouds of mystery pourin’ confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages tryin’ to find the sun.
And I wonder, still I wonder, who’ll stop the rain?
Verse: 02
I went down South Limburg, seekin’ shelter from the storm.
Caught up in the fable, I watched the tower grow.
Five Year Plans and New Deals, wrapped in golden chains.
And I wonder, still I wonder, who’ll stop the rain?

Verse: 03
Heard the singers playin’, how we cheered for more.
The crowd had rushed together, tryin’ to keep warm.
Still the rain kept pourin’, fallin’ on my ears.
And I wonder, still I wonder, who’ll stop the rain?
